Bringing Home Baby – Tacoma Lifestyle Photographer

September 12, 2013

A few weeks ago, my friend gave birth to her sweet baby boy, Kaj. I went over to visit the new mom to three boys (!) just two days after Kaj was born and took some pictures to show what life is like when a new baby comes home to a full house. The older, teenage brother had seen it all before and acted unfazed, though I suspect he couldn’t wait to help change some diapers. The younger brother kept his distance and took a bit of convincing to show Kaj some love. Life is tough when you’re not the baby anymore! Despite the hectic new life for this family, Kaj had the same impact that most newborns do on families. His tiny toes needed to be nibbled and his little head begged to be sniffed. That new baby smell is ten times better than any new car smell, I promise. After the hospital bracelets came off, Kaj settled into a pretty sweet life of sleeping, nursing and being loved on by his beautiful little family.
