I'll teach you how to identify and navigate a wide range of lighting situations that you'll encounter in the real world.
Then we'll jump into the creative side, making sure you have a solid understanding of some basic, yet effective composition techniques.

If you're curious but unsure, send me an email. I have a questionnaire that I can send you to get a better idea of where you're at right now and I can make a recommendation based on that.
It's completely up to you! I designed this course to to be self-paced so you can work on the material when you have time and take breaks when you don't. The more time you put in, shooting and interacting with others in the forum, the more you’ll get out of our time together.
All you need is a camera capable of shooting in Manual mode. We will talk about camera limitations as they come up but I want you to know how to use the equipment you have before you go out to buy anything. If you're in the market for a new camera or lens, I will send a list of recommendations when you sign up for the workshop.
We'll focus on editing with Lightroom and Photoshop (along with Adobe Camera Raw) but you can apply the knowledge of the basic adjustments we'll go over to most other programs if they have the same controls. If you want to try Lightroom or Photoshop, you can use a free trial or sign up with the Adobe Creative Cloud for $10/month.
Yes, though you can extend for another six months if you feel you need it for $100.

I feel like there are so many resources that you can read on how to shoot manual mode. But it wasn't until I worked with Kayla that things started to make sense. I can't believe how different my pictures are from the beginning till now!
