90 Second Shoot – Tacoma Documentary Photographer

September 20, 2013

I came across a photography challenge recently, the 90 Second Shoot, and was encouraged to try it with my son. The idea behind the 90 Second Shoot is to shoot continuously for a minute and a half to capture the insane variety of faces kids make. It wasn’t easy, but I really wanted to see what I could get myself. These took a little bit longer than 90 seconds to get and even with a bag of chocolate chips I couldn’t get Silas to sit still, but I love the end result. I’m thinking this is one activity that I’ll try to do around each birthday. It’s quick enough and can be easy and it’s definitely worth being able to catch some of those faces that I see all the time. This is also a great way to get some genuine smiles out of kids who like to say cheese in front of a camera. Give it a try!
