…Then comes marriage. Then comes the baby in the baby carriage! Oh man, how I wish I could go back to the end of my first pregnancy and take pictures that would forever remind me of how life used to be before having kids. Prepping for Baby maternity sessions are always a good time, but they feel extra special when they’re for a couple’s first babe.

There are the slow, quiet mornings. Coffee that you get to drink hot, clothes that get folded and put away as soon as they’re dried (and they only need to be washed once because you didn’t forget to switch the load). There are leisurely walks, unencumbered with diaper bags and strollers. There’s time to talk to your partner, without a million and one interruptions.

But best of all is the anticipation of baby-to-come. Who will this little person be? What will they look like? How will they fit into our lives? I can’t answer the first two questions, but they’ll end up fitting in so seamlessly that without these pictures, you’ll forget what life used to be like.
