November 10, 2018

Way back in September my dad and sister came to visit us one last time in the Netherlands (and because I missed last month’s 10 on 10 with the move to Guam and all, you get to see those pictures now). Like always, we found a nice balance between doing absolutely nothing at home, pretending that we didn’t like half a world apart, and going out and doing all the touristy things. This included visiting Zaanse Schans, a little neighborhood filled with windmills and houses from the 18th and 19th centuries. It was super cute and super Dutch. We went inside some functional windmills, learned how to make wooden clogs, and fed some farm animals. If you find yourself in the Netherlands with nothing to do, go check this place out!

When you’re done here, be sure to check out Kristi Burton and make your way around this blog circle.
