I’ve been doing this photography thing since high school, now over 20 years. I’ve been in business since 2013. And yet there are still occasions when i feel like a complete newb. It happens less often these days, but there are times when i feel like an imposter, totally unqualified to have an opinion on anything photography related. Being asked to do an interview for SD Voyager magazine was one of those times. But if I’ve learned anything important over the years, it’s to say ‘yes’ to opportunities that my anxiety says I’m unqualified for. Sometimes I AM the right person for the job.

So if you’re curious about how I got here, my villain origin story if you will, check out my interview and then maybe dip a toe out of your comfort zone… when it’s safe of course.
