I have to admit, I was a little nervous about this session. I’m used to busy toddlers and active kids guiding my sessions. It’s easy for adults to feel awkward in front of a camera if there aren’t kids to distract them. This was my first session with no little ones running around the house, no babies crawling away and no tickle fights. It was quiet and slow moving. Baby Jonathan slept soundly through most of the session. There was a Sunday paper and coffee, lots of big yawns and the tiniest diapers I have ever seen. As it turns out, when there is a new baby involved, most adults have no problem cuddling and kissing their baby which looks fabulous on camera. A big thank you to this growing family for inviting me into their home to document such a special time.
