Family Lifestyle Photographer San Diego

Growing up in San Diego I never put much thought into it as a vacation destination. It was always just home. But living away for so long and only being able to visit in short bursts gave me a whole new perspective on what San Diego has to offer when it comes to things To Do. What was I going to try to cram into my visit back home this time? What would have to wait until next time?

After getting our fill of Souplantation (RIP), In-N-Out, and carne asada burritos, we’d usually hit the beach, the World Famous San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park, a few of the bazillion museums, another beach, Seaport Village, downtown, Sea World, another beach and a few playgrounds.

So naturally, when friends started to visit during our trips back home, we’d schedule photo + video sessions to include some of the amazing outings San Diego has to offer for families. During Nicole’s trip to SD, we only hit up the hotel pool, Pacific Beach, and the Zoo (not pictured cause we were too busy having fun), but it felt like we never stopped moving.

I’m so excited to be back full time this year, to not just feel like we’re vacationing there. And I’m even more excited to photograph families living their best lives in SD. I’ll see you at the Zoo!
