Guam Lifestyle Newborn Session
What do you get when you cross a lifestyle newborn session and a pandemic? A lifestyle 6-week-old session!
Amy and I had been planning baby Leo’s in-home newborn session for months. And then Covid-19 hit Guam. Business restrictions kept me from work for two months and during that time, Leo arrived. When I was finally able to meet the little guy, he was already 6 weeks old.
But Kayla, isn’t 6 weeks too late for a newborn session? I thought babies had to be under two weeks old for the best pictures. Maybe for posed newborn portraits, but for storytelling newborn sessions, there’s no cut off age at all! We’ll still focus on life with your new baby (no matter how new) and the daily adjustments you and your family are making.
There will still be lots of snuggles. Lots of kisses and hugs. Lots of diaper changes, spit up and crying. There will be juggling baby with one hand and everything else with the other. Baby will eat and eat and eat some more.
Check out the video and see for yourself! It’s never too late book your newborn baby session.
