After School Special – San Diego Documentary Family Photography

San Diego Documentary Family Photography – Another year, another session! This family has been in front of my camera since Keenan was born 4 years ago and I love seeing how both this family and my work continue to evolve. Our first in-home session focused on a normal summer night and the daily bedtime routine. The next year we ventured out of the house for a favorite outing at the beach. And this year, we covered both in one session.

Shannon told me her favorite time of day is walking to pick up her oldest from school. Music to my ears! Her two younger boys were vibrating with anticipation after being away from Ronan all day.  Pick up looked like a reunion that was weeks in the making, not just hours. Bear hugs, wresting, laughing, jumping. After a quick stop at home we all headed to the beach again! There was still fighting, wet clothes, and sand in every nook and cranny, but once again, Shannon handled it all flawlessly. Check out the Fusion Video from their session!
